Dr. C. Robin Nottingham

C. Robin Nottingham, PhD. has been practicing psychology for over 26 years.  She was licensed originally in the state of North Carolina where she attended Duke University Counseling and Psychological Center as an intern. After completing her internship, she held a pre and post doctoral fellowship at Duke University Medical Center Occupational Mental Health program. She is currently licensed in the state of Virginia as a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Nottingham works extensively with adults, adolescents, individuals and couples.  She has led groups on women’s issues, occupational concerns, and works with clients who present with multicultural challenges (e.g. ethnic issues, spiritual matters, and environmental influences). Many of her patients are treated for common psychological difficulties such as stress, anxiety, and depression. She also devotes a great deal of her practice to marital and relationship issues. Dr. Nottingham has been in private practice for over fifteen years. During a portion of that time (i.e. five years) she held a position as a partner for a large practice in Norfolk, Va.  Currently she practices at the Center for Personal Growth and Change where she serves as the founder and a co-owner.
